dIVISIONS: oPEN - TEAMS MAY RUN ANY CALIBER RIFLE AND ANY SUPPORT GEAR THEY CHOOSE.

GEAR: aLL GEAR AND AMMO WILL BE CARRIED BY THE COMPETITORS DURING THE MATCH.

sAFETY:

Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
Never let the muzzle SWEEP anything you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
Be sure of your target and what is beYOND it.

tHORSON rANCH tRAINING AND THE trt SNIPER CHALLENGE ARE cold.

All rifles are to be unloaded, with magazines out and bolts to the rearward position. Chamber flags ARE NOT REQUIRED BUT ARE WELCOME. The rifle AND PISTOL may only be loaded PER THE INSTRUCTIONS of the Range Officer. eITHER AND/OR BOTH WEAPONS WILL BE CHECKED FOR CLEAR BY THE ro AFTER THE TEAM HAS COMPLETED THE STAGE.

pISTOLS WILL BE CARRIED IN HOLSTERS UNLOADED.
When moving to another shooting location OR STAGING AREA, always ensure the rifle is pointed in a safe direction.

RIFLES WILL BE STORED IN DESIGNATED AREAS AT EACH STAGE.

dURING A STAGE: ANY MOVMENT WILL BE done with the bolt to the rear and an empty chamber OR IF USING A GAS GUN, PLACED ON SAFE.

the 180 rule, OR A VARIATIONS THEREOF, WILL BE IN EFFECT AT ALL STAGES. ANY EXCEPTIONS OR DEVIATIONS WILL BE A REDUCTION FROM THE 180 RULE AND WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE STAGE BRIEF.
